Now booking: Spring Term
January - March 2026
Spring Programme Theme: Our Neighbourhood – Past, Present, Future
This term, we are thrilled to have sessions with three remarkable artists alongside our regular classes.
Together with Cecily Loveys Jervoise, Charlotte Mew and Sara Heywood we will explore the stories and character of our neighbourhood — from its textile heritage and Suffragette history to the buildings, façades and patterns that shape our local identity.
Across 11 workshops, children will enjoy a rich mix of art, design and making activities inspired by local stories and architecture.
Our expanded programme with local guest artists and designers, together with our regular classes will give children the chance to explore a wide range of creative techniques, including weaving, natural dyeing, drawing, collage, casting and cyanotype printing.
The term will finish with a celebratory exhibition of the children’s work.

Introduction
Designbloom is committed to safeguarding the welfare of all children and young people who attend our classes and workshops, from ages 5 to 17. We believe that every child and young person deserves to feel safe, valued, and protected from harm. This policy outlines our approach to achieving this goal.
Our Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)
We have a named Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) responsible for overseeing safeguarding issues within the dance school. The DSL is: Ifigeneia Dilaveraki
What is Safeguarding?Safeguarding refers to the action taken to promote the welfare of children and young people and protect them from harm. This includes:
Protecting children and young people from abuse and neglect (physical, emotional, sexual)
Ensuring children and young people's health and development are not compromised
Providing safe and effective care for children and young people

Safeguarding Practices at DesignBloom

Venerable Times: Parent/Guardian(s) must stay with young people who are not toilet trained
Reporting Concerns: We encourage anyone with concerns about a child or young person's safety to report them immediately. You can report concerns to the DSL or any member of staff.
Allegations Against Staff: We have a clear process for handling allegations of abuse against staff members. This process ensures a fair and thorough investigation.
Anti-Bullying Policy: We take bullying seriously and have a dedicated anti-bullying policy in place. We encourage a culture of respect and inclusivity within the school.
Listening and Communication: We create a safe space for children and young people to voice concerns. We actively listen to them and take their worries seriously.

Booking of Trial Classes
A booking, or as we call a "Trial Class," is a one-off booking for a particular class
This is only available to first-time students
Due to high demand, regular class attendance is only available via a Weekly Member
After your trial class, you will have 48 hours to decide if you would like to join as a Weekly Class Member
Our cancellation period is 7 days prior to the class to receive a full refund
Trial classes are paid spaces
Subscriptions as a Weekly Member
A Subscription/Plan, or "Weekly Member" as we call it, secures a space in the weekly class by automatically taking payment and booking your session before each class.
If payments fail to go through, your membership is automatically placed into a "grace period" for 24 hours and you will be notified via email. If you do not update your payment method within 24 hours, your class membership is cancelled and we may pass your space onto someone else on the waiting list.
If payments fail to go through regularly, we may ask you to start paying for a group of classes at once
Members may take up to two weeks break at any time by letting us know via email with 7 days notice. Membership cannot be paused for more than 2 weeks in 6 weeks. Exceptions in special circumstances can be made by emailing us.
If for whatever reason members need to reduce their subscription (e.g. from 3 weekly classes to 2 weekly classes), Adore Dance is unable to manually alter the amount taken, even with written notice. Members will be sent a new membership link to sign up for the updated membership. Failure to update a membership will result in the old membership payments continuing until the updated membership is confirmed. Adore Dance is not responsible for refunding overcharged payments if members fail to update their membership using the link provided.
If for whatever reason members need to upgrade their subscription (e.g. from 2 weekly classes to 3 weekly classes), Adore Dance is unable to manually alter the amount taken, even with written notice. Members will be sent a new membership link to sign up for the updated membership. Failure to update a membership using the link provided will result in payments being sent manually under our standard payment terms.
Our cancellation period is 7 days prior to your next class to cancel the membership
For short-notice cancellations (inside 7 days) we endeavour to provide a make up class int he same week, subject to availability.
